Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Bizzy Day account and the data associated with it. Bizzy Day is operated by Bizzy Day Ltd, the developer shown on our app store listings.

Only tradespeople hold an account. Customers search for free and never create an account, so there is no customer account to delete. Deleting your account permanently removes your public profile, your calendar, and the job and financial records you have stored, as described below.

The fastest way to delete your account is from within Bizzy Day:

1. Open the Bizzy Day app (or app.bizzy.day) and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted. You will be asked to re-enter your password or confirm via your sign-in provider to verify it is you.
5. Your account is deactivated immediately and your public profile is removed from search straight away.

If you cannot access your account, you can ask us to delete it on your behalf. Email privacy@bizzy.day from the email address registered to your account with the subject line "Delete my account".

We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will confirm by email once your account and associated data have been deleted.

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you, including:

• Account credentials — email address and authentication details
• Profile details — name, trade type, location, postcode, bio, contact details, and profile image
• External review links — your Checkatrade and Trustatrader profile URLs
• Calendar & availability data — jobs, holidays, non-working days, and availability blocks
• Job information — customer names, addresses, contacts, dates, pricing, payment status, and notes
• Financial documents — quotes, invoices, and line-item details you created
• Material receipts — receipt images or PDFs and associated metadata
• Calendar integrations — connected webcal feed URLs and Google Calendar OAuth tokens
• Voice recordings and AI-generated content tied to your account (Pro AI features)
• Your preferences and settings

For legal, security, and accounting reasons, a limited amount of data may be retained after deletion:

• Encrypted backups may retain your data for up to 90 days before being overwritten, for security and disaster-recovery purposes
• Stripe retains payment and billing records for up to 7 years as required by UK financial regulations — we do not store your card details ourselves
• Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that can no longer identify you may be retained indefinitely for service improvement
• Records we are legally required to keep, or that are needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements

• Immediately — your account is deactivated and your public profile is removed from customer search
• Within 30 days — your personal data is permanently deleted from our active systems
• Within 90 days — your data is purged from encrypted backups

Deleting your account cancels your Bizzy Day subscription. We do not provide refunds for the remaining portion of a billing period unless required by law. To avoid being charged for a new period, delete your account or cancel your subscription before your next renewal date.

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you may also need to cancel the subscription in your store account settings to stop future charges, as those subscriptions are managed by the store.
